Description: This is an early postcard of Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Michigan. It is a snowy day and there are trolleys, horses and carts and pedestrians on the street. It is possible to read lots of signs including Ben Hur Cigars, Queen Anne Soap and Exhibit Ice. There is a banner across the street that is advertising a race. There is writing on the front as well as some cancellation ink. However, it is still a great card with lots of detail. It was sent from Detroit to Astoria, Oregon in 1911 and has now survived for 106 years!
