The gold gilt lettering on spines is very crisp and clear. Books are tightly bound, no markings and no weird stains or smells. Normal toning to the paper as these books are well over 110 years old. An exceptional find in this condition considerating age. There are 48 books present, including the Harvard Lectures. The only ones missing are volumes 13, 15, 16 and 33
