Lovely lithophane cameos of with children, puppies, and baby ducks, children in period classical settings and dress. Three scenes on each shade alternating with a fancy filigree patterned panel. Single cast porcelain three-dimensional shades in a slant form, 7" wide bottom fitters, each approximately 4" tall. The shade on the right is undamaged with no chips cracks or breaks on the porcelain, the shade on the right has a tight cracked repaired/glued piece near the fitter, both shades ring like a bell when tapped. Crisp charming Victorian detail on all of the portraits. Wonderful rarely seen matched pair of high quality single cast lithophane shades; a lovely addition to any collection or any decor.
