Description: This is a nice 13” viola made by the A R Sidel company for Roth. The label says it was made in 1954 making this viola about 70 years old. There are some scratches on the top, but there are no open cracks. A small piece is missing from one f-hole wing (see photo.) the wood selection for this instrument is beautifully flamed maple and select narrow grained spruce for the top. No case or bow. I’m a retired professional violin maker and I have just too many violins violas and Bows to be able to care for them all so I’m selling a bunch of them off on eBay. Watch for my other eBay sales .
