Description: This sale is for 10 Rock City glass sleeves used by hotels, circa 1960s, purchased from an estate sale on Lookout Mountain. This is new old stock, a great find. Your 10 will be unused new old stock. The picture with one of them on a glass is just to show how they work. They measure 3 1/4" by 7 3/4" and they open up on the bottom so they can be slid over top of a glass to let motel customers know their glass has been sanitized and protected by a Rock City sleeve. Rock City is a tourist site on top of Lookout Mountain right outside Chattanooga Tennessee. Famous for their "See Rock City" logo which was painted on Barns and Birdhouses all over the south. The paper sleeves are all identical and have the famous “See Rock City” Birdhouse, “Enjoy Mother Goose Village at Rock City” and “Something to Sing About” and “Atop Lookout Mountain Near Chattanooga Tennessee” on them. On the back they are printed “This Glass Has Been SANITIZED AND WRAPPED for Your PROTECTION”. We are selling them in groups of 10 so folks can collect them, use them at parties or family get togethers (and hopefully store them away for the next family gathering) or whatever. They will be shipped in a 6" x9" Photo Mailer with an extra piece of cardboard for support. We wish to provide an easy transaction for our customers with items that meet or preferably exceed expectations. We tend to be extra careful to make sure any and all flaws are pointed out and shown in photos. I can usually ship next day but occasionally it could be two days.
